NJ in the UW

Richard GaringProject D Dance Co. Alumni (artistic co-director 06-07) and NJ native, Richard Garing has been a bi-coastal dancer training with Project D and other east coast teams in his off season and dancing for the Seattle, Washington State dance community during his collegiate stay at University of Washington (UW). Besides that famous company class video of him, (now offline due to a YouTube malfunction on projectddancecompany’s YT account), his credentials include:

  • performance at UNRATED VIII: Kreative Kaos
  • performance at Seattle Seahawks halftime show
  • performance at Culture Shock Canada Showcase
  • Background dancing for Regine Velasquez and Pops Fernandez
  • and Instructor for the Huskies Dance Team

Despite his long distance from home base: Paramus, NJ, Richard is still spreading dance in his own community in Seattle. Recently, in conjunction with five other business partners, he has started this first strictly hip-hop dance school in the U-district.
