Project D invades Prelude NORCAL!

Yes, I know norcal has nothing to do with the EC, BUT the EC is representing NJ up in the BAY AREA this SATURDAY… with PROJECT D!

Phunk Phenomenon was one of the first teams to make it to the West Coast thanks to Hip Hop International. Studio ONE from FLORIDA soon followed suit by being the first EC team to invade UCSD’s Fusion in 2007 and 2008. FR3SH Dance Company of NJ further set the bar by giving their performance of a lifetime at Funkanometry San Fransisco’s first ever SOCK HOP. Later in DECEMBER, Rhythmology will be taking their chance at Cali Fame at Prelude SoCal 2008. But for this NOVEMBER, Project D will be representing New Jersey up in the Bay bay bay bay bay at this year’s PRELUDE NORCAL at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center!

Stay tuned for more info, as PDSTYLE will be definitely giving you THE FEED at PRELUDE NORCAL 2008, pD”style!”

BOOGIEZONE NJ x ABDC2 BOOGIEBOTS!

MEET JOESAR ALVA
Joesar Alva has been dancing since he was a little boy. After learning to wave from his father, he slowly taught himself more and learned some of his own tricks. In December 2005, Joesar joined Future Shock DC. Immediately that following February, he continued his training as he auditioned for Culture Shock DC. During his years on the troupe, he’s joined other groups such as Capital Funk, Yur Mother, and Boogie Bots.

It was not until November 2007 that Joesar realized that dancing is all he wants to do, and decided to pursue it as a career. Since then he’s been inspired by many, training intensely, working on his craft and finding his style, choreographing when he can. A couple of his inspirations are Tony Czar and Lyle Beniga just to name a few.

Joesar has been featured in The Monsters of Hip Hop Show 2008: The Journey of the Underdogg, as well as Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew Season 2 with the Boogie Bots.

Date: Friday, November 14, 2008
Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Location: Paragon Ballroom
Street: 291 West Clay Ave.
City/Town: Roselle Park, NJ
