PROJECT D 2008-2009 AUDITIONS!

Its official! PROJECT D AUDITIONS for the 2008-2009 season ARE HAPPENING Tuesday, JUNE 3rd, 2008 at 4PM at STEP BY STEP Dancesport, INC. in Bergenfield, NJ!

AUDITION INFORMATION:
Auditions will happen in three stages this year. IT IS HIGHLY REQUIRED for all AUDITIONEES to attend the MAY 27th PreAudition Workshop on TUESDAY to learn the pieces to perform on JUNE 3-AUDITION DAY at 4PM. Everyone will have a week after MAY 27th to clean the audition pieces and present on JUNE 3.

FIRST STAGE
(MANDATORY FOR ALL PAST AND CURRENT MEMBERS. Optional for NEW INCOMING members)
Auditionees entering this stage will have to group in mini teams of two or three and present the choreography with formations and transititions. The mini teams will also have to provide choreography for the 4th mystery song of the master mix (look at the audition INFO page above for the master mix link). Themes and costumes are not mandatory but are HIGHLY encouraged!

SECOND STAGE.
(ALL AUDITIONEES — new, current, and past returning — are required to participate in this stage).
AUDITIONEES will be called into random groups by number and will perform all the audition pieces taught from the MAY 27th workshop.

THIRD STAGE.
(OPTIONAL FOR ALL)
The third stage is an open cyper / all styles freestyle session. This is open to EVERYONE – auditionees, non auditionees, etc. *NOTE – Auditionees who do participate in the third stage will also be judged their freestyle.

AUDITIONS are COMING

Yes you heard it right. Project D 2008-2009 Auditions are coming soon…and they’re happening either end of May or early JUNE.

This year we’ll be doing it a little different. We’ll have a pre-audition workshop to teach the audition pieces, then ya’ll will audition the pieces on the following week — giving you all about a couple of days to get it down. Of course, all this is happening at STEP by STEP dancesport, INC. in Bergenfield, NJ.
